Militants fire at army vehicle in Shopian village | KNO

Militants on Saturday evening attacked an army vehicle in south Kashmir’s Shopian district however there was no loss of life or injury, sources said.

The militants fired many shots at a bullet proof (BP) army vehicle in Nullay Poshwari village of Shopian, they said. The army vehicle was returning after winding up a checkpoint near Kennigam village, local sources said adding as it reached near Nullay village, militants fired at it from an orchard.

The army soldiers retaliated the militant fire creating panic in the area. SSP Shopian A S Dinkar told Kashmir Reader that few shots were heard in Nullay village however he said they are investigating the matter.
